Beer is just beer, right? That's what the last few decades of Swiss beer culture might suggest, but beer can be more than just mass-produced lager. How about Cucumber Sour, White Tea Lager or Oyster Stout? With these and many other specials, we appeal to a broad base of connoisseurs who long for new, intense flavour experiences. With classic styles such as pilsner, red ale and pale ale, on the other hand, we cater for traditional beer lovers. We have a beer for everyone.

The annual double-digit sales growth rate and the countless positive feedback we receive from our constantly growing community show that this works.

Past successes and our outlook for the future

Sometimes we are so focused on the next steps that we almost forget what has already happened in the last 3.5 years. But it's worth looking back. Not only have we made the leap from a hobby brewery to professionalism, but we are also now one of the leading craft breweries in Zurich. The fact that demand for our beers has exceeded our production capacity for months now clearly emphasizes this.

Not only does our limited capacity put us under pressure, but the looming threat of our production facilities being demolished also adds to the strain. Finding a suitable and affordable location in Zurich is a major challenge - some might even say, ‘impossible, go to the suburbs.’ But that’s not us… We are made in Zurich! We want to stay close to our customers, not just to keep supply chains short, but more importantly, to remain at the heart of the action and make our brewery as accessible as possible.

We have mastered this challenge. After a long and intensive search, we found what we were looking for at Örlikerhus. In addition to the fact that the name fits like a glove, we have larger and higher premises at our disposal. In other words, there is room for more and, above all, larger fermentation tanks. The new location also means that we can stay in our neighborhood. In the heart of our community. Including a centrally located taproom where you can raise a glass with us.

Things will get underway in November. Our fermentation tanks and bottling machine will move, and we'll also be adding a state-of-the-art brewing system. As you can imagine, this will of course be bigger and more efficient. While we are limited to brew twice a week today, we will be firing up the boilers three times a day there.

Who we are

What do a pharmacist, banking & finance graduate, lawyer and artist have in common? Exactly, a passion for beer and the urge to share it with as many people as possible. We are all career changers, but with our diverse backgrounds we bring the right amount of expertise and creativity to the brewery scene.

Why crowdinvesting?

Since the first funding round in 2021, over 500 shareholders are already backing us, making the brewery 100% community-based and financed. There is no question for us that we are taking the next step again with our community.

Speaking of the future

While we are installing our new production facilities and setting up the new taproom, the next project is already starting in another part of Zurich. From October until the end of the year, you will also find us in Kreis 3, as a pop-up!
